With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Vaughan (Swannanoa, North Carolina), born in Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on November 4, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lloyd Gordon Horton and Patricia Allen Caldwell Horton; her siblings, Lynette MacRae of Black Mountain, NC and Scott Horton of Hendersonville, NC; and her close friend Melissa Meyer (Douglas Thoma) of Black Mountain.

The family respectfully requests that any memorial contributions in Diane's honor be made to any animal rescue of your choice.
