He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ellis Flynn, Jr. and Mary Ellen Houser Flynn; his siblings, Rachel Holmes, Troy Flynn and Norman Flynn; and his grandson Brody Mashburn.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Wright Flynn; his children, Sabrina Sumner, Anita Flynn (Michael McClain), Derek Flynn (Amanda) and Heather Mashburn (Scott); and his sister Angela Perkins (Michael). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
