He was predeceased by: his father Charles Gaston McPeeters Sr.; and his brother John Samuel McPeeters. He is survived by: his wife Karon McPeeters; his children, Angelia Michelle McPeeters and Richard Lynn McPeeters; his sister Judy Ross; his stepchildren, Mark Miller and Angela Harris; and his nephew Eric Ross. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Heart Association.
