David James Gilbride Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2023, at the age of 70, David James Gilbride of Surf City, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David James Gilbride to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Gilbride and Florence Gilbride; his wife Patty; his children, Brion, Daniel and Megan; his grandchildren, Timothy, Kenneth, Jack, Sullivan and Emmett; and his siblings, Tom, Ann and Margaret.
While guiding North Topsail Beach through the worst days of the pandemic, David was able to attend legislative hearings in Raleigh, participate in Topsail Island Shoreline Protection Committee meetings, and zoom conferences with federal representatives.
