Cynthia Prestwood Allen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Prestwood Allen of Surf City, North Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Cynthia Prestwood farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Cynthia Prestwood is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her husband Randy Allen. She is survived by: her parents, Larry Prestwood of Wilmington and Gaynelle Prestwood of Wilmington; and her son Brandon Hales (Kristen).

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Freedom Baptist Church (802 N College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28405).
