He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Carraway Smith; his children, Freddie Smith (Diane) of Stanley, NC and Thela Smith of Charlotte, NC; his stepchildren, Frank Kiger, Jr. (Lisa) of Hilton Head, SC, Tonya Sappo (Troy) of Charlotte, NC and Monica Kiger of Charlotte, NC; his sisters, Sheila Thigpen of Georgia and Cissy Matthews of Georgia; his grandchildren, A. J., Treaton, Cameron, Carson and Samira; and his great grandchildren, Ryder, Hayden and Maximus.
