She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Lee Smith and Evie Estelle Milligan Smith; her husband Shirley Woodard; her son Colston Woodard; and her sister Wanda Ayers.
She is survived by: her children, Dane Woodard (Dawn) of Supply, Mark Woodard (Betty) of Supply, Penny Simmons (Terry) of Supply, Alice Overby of Supply and Patricia Gales (Wayne) of Shallotte; and her siblings, Joe Smith (Mary) of Shallotte, Charles Ray Smith of Ash, Dora Register of Council, NC, Evelyn Reeves of Nakina, NC and Mercedes Coleman of Latta, SC. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren.
Due to COVID19 health concerns, graveside services in Brunswick Memorial Gardens will be private.
