She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Daniel Harris and Ella Ola Danie Harris; and her son Johnny Ray Bratton. She is survived by: her husband Jack Howell; and her daughters, Elaine Hartsell (Jim), Billie Edwards (Steve) and Jody Dembowski (Joe). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
