It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Powers Thompson of Supply, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Powers and Vara Hester Powers; her husband Edward L. "Pete" Thompson, Sr.; and her sister Gwen Baker. She is survived by: her children, Edward L. "Pete" Thompson, Jr. (Frances) of Greenville, SC and Lynne Thompson Bohlen; her grandchildren, Hobie Bohlen, Ed Thompson, III, Thomas Thompson and Logan Sanders; and her great grandchildren, Ward Thompson, Charlotte Thompson and Makayla Bohlen.
