It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mark Filipovic of Supply, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 77, on January 28, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zivorad Filipovic and Justina Filipovic; his siblings, Maria, Dennis and Steven; and his sister-in-law Nora Filipovic (Cordova).

He is survived by: his wife Silvia Wiesensee; his children, Mark Filipovic, Michael Filipovic, Andrea Beggs (John) and Daniela Schmidt; and his grandchildren, Evan, Deana, Marisa, Zachary, Kiley Anne, Nikolas, Farrington, Lukas and Anna Sophia.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you donate to St. Jude Hospital or your local Veterans office in honor of our consummate Marine.
