She was predeceased by: her parents, Smiley James Mills and Dorothy Louise Waugh; and her brothers, John Mills and Ricky Mills. She is survived by: her husband Robert Vann Carlan; her children, Jeff Carlan (Kim) of Monroe, Nancy Mical (Lee) of Monroe and Adam Carlan (Shanna) of Virginia; and her siblings, James Mills of Monroe, Rocky Mills of Monroe, Debbie Carter of Athens, AL and Henry Ivey of Huntsville.
