She was predeceased by: her parents, Cordell Hogsed and Mabel Carpenter Hogsed; and her friend Margaret "Mot" Noblitt. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sharon Methodist Church (2030 Holden Beach Rd SW, Supply, NC 28462). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
