He was predeceased by: his son Johnny Hair, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Diane Hair; and his brother Robert Hair. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Barefoot Hair; his children, Barbara Joyce Hair of Supply, Kay Clemmons Cate-Bennette (John) of Wilmington, NC, Ann Bailey (Robert) of Fayetteville, NC, Mary Rogers (Joseph) of Fayetteville, NC, Dorothy Hewett (Ashley) of Supply, NC and Paul Daniel Pruitt (Sarah) of Fayetteville, NC; his siblings, Allen Hair, David Earl Hair and Marie Hair of Nancy Trantham; his grandchildren, David Anthony Hair, Jessica H. McConnell, Travis Hair, Eugene Watts, Bobby Cate, Sandra Rogers, Joey Rogers, Matthew Pruitt, Kira Pruitt and Cameron Hewett; and his great grandchildren, Antonio Hair, Chloe Cate, Aleyia McConnell, Julianna McConnell and John McConnell.
