He was predeceased by: his parents, Rowland Pittman and Dessie Mae Pittman; and his brothers, Worth, Junior, Emory and Alfred.
He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Stephens, Kenneth Pittman, Louise Britt and Murray Pittman; and his children, Melissa, Brandie, Jerry Jr. and Jacob. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
