As Howard Dale departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Howard Dale may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Howard Dale leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ray Barnes and Sadie Mae Johnson of Robeson County, NC.; and his brothers, Randy and Jerry Barnes. He is survived by: his son Jacob Barnes (Sarah Barnes) of Etowah, NC; his wife Donna Barnes; his sons, Bobby (Beth Barnes) of Supply, NC and Mannun (Suzanne Barnes) of Supply, NC; and his brothers, Timmy and Rusty Barnes. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to SECU Hospice House of Brunswick - Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, who's dedicated staff took great care of Dale in his time of need.
