With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hiram Edge of Supply, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elemuel Purdie Edge and Nina Dona Davis; his wives, Ouinda McLemore Edge and Jean Gooden; and his siblings, Paul Edge and Agnes Edge Kothe.
He is survived by: his sons, Tony Edge (John) of Holden Beach and Michael Suggs of Fayetteville; his stepdaughter Kathy "Tobie" Best (Jay) of Raleigh; his siblings, John W. Edge, Jerry Edge, Hellen E. Ellery, Frances E. Hill, Linda E. Stephens and Gloria A. Taque; his stepgrandchildren, Marc Best (Emily), Lewis Best, Emily Best McArn and Samuel Best (Savannah); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, James, Ruth, Judah and Zion. He is also survived by 13 nephews and four nieces.
