He was predeceased by: his parents, Burris Lenare Phelps and Barbara Ann Dickerson Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia B. Phelps; his daughters, Allison Phelps (T. J. Thornton) of Supply and Courtney Milliken (Scott) of Ash; his grandchildren, Peyton, Khloe, Nicholas, Brantley and Brenlin; and his sister-in-law Regely Hyatt of Supply.
