The memory of George W. Schantz of Supply, North Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2024 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schantz and Elizabeth Schantz; and his daughter Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his sons, George (Trish) and Karl (Renee); and his sister Marion Smith. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and grand nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Veterans Administration.
