He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Nell. He is survived by: his son Steven H. Sowers; his wife Janie; his siblings, Chuck, Martha Dee, Larry and Roger; his grandchildren, Isabella, Shaun, Carrington and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Carleigh and Kerighan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
