He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Augustus and Delphia Mae Miller Peek; and his sisters, Bertha, Irene, Martha, Hallie and Christine.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Johnson Peek; his daughter Kirsten Peek of Cullowhee, NC; his brother Sanford E. Peek, Sr.; and his grandchildren, Sierra Anderson, Jonas Stovall and Ethan Stovall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
