He is survived by: his wife Edith Fulford Babson; his daughter Diana Babson Sawyer of Supply; his granddaughter Ashley Sawyer Hickman (Wes) of Leland; his great grandchild Will Hickman, Jr. of Leland; his stepson DeWayne Garner of Kannapolis; and his siblings, Wilma "Jack" Cox of Ash, Donna Stone (Clay) of Reidsville, NC, Belton Babson of Columbia, SC and James "Toby" Babson (Laurie Babson) of Ash.
