She was predeceased by: her parents, Belton Soles and Allamae Nealey Soles; her husband Henry Leonard; her son Henry James Leonard, Jr.; and her siblings, John Soles, Cary Soles, Mona Osborne and April Peavy.
She is survived by: her children, Belton Glenn Leonard (Tina) of Shallotte, Kirby Dean Leonard (Angel) of Shallotte, Jamie Fay Emanuel of Shallotte, Vanessa Faith Morin (Dewayne) of Zebulon, NC and Jona Veronica Leonard (Danielle) of Supply. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be sent in honor of Mrs. Leonard's life to Alzheimer's Association (Alz.org).
