He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Roland Dossitt Bowling and Arnol Setzer Bowling; his wife Sue Bowling; his brother James "Jim" Bowling (Barb) of Winston-Salem, NC; and his stepson Michael Littleton (Julie) of Athens.

Due to the pandemic, no local services will be held.
