He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Simoes Simons and Rose Simons; his brothers, Anthony Simons, Robert Simons and Daniel Simons; his granddaughter Christine Donorfio; and his stepson Robert Famiglietti.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Feltman Simons; his children, Peter J Simons Jr. (Susan) and Lynn Marinaro (Robert); his brother Joseph Simons (Barbara); and his stepchildren, John Famiglietti (Jodi), Stacey Famiglietti and Thomas Famiglietti. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
