He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Lowder and Maifield Lowder; and his sister Gail Lowder Pickler. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Burris Lowder; his sons, Eric Lowder (Brenda) of Ocean Isle and Brad Lowder (Alicia) of Locust; his grandchildren, Brandon Byrd (Jessica), Shane Byrd (Sonya), Erika Galloway (Daniel), Kimrey Lowder and Laci Lowder; and his brothers, Ronald G. Lowder and Tim W. Lowder (Pat). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mission Baptist Church (12444 Mission Church Rd, Locust, NC 28097). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
