We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2024, at the age of 83, Lawrence Howell Blakley of Sunset Beach, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lawrence Howell may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lawrence Howell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Blakley and Glenn Caudle Blakley; and his siblings, Clegg Blakley, Bill Blakley and Sue Harrington.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Hatcher Blakley; his daughter Amy McCrimmon; his stepdaughters, Donna Pevoto and Judy Chavis; and his sister Ellen Lambert. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren.
