He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Lee and Wanda Myers Pennell. He is survived by: his son Joshua Lee Pennell; his siblings, Kathy Stewart (Rick Saunders) and Kevin Lyle Pennell (Mandy Pennell); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Jayden and Coy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dover Baptist Church Cemetery (3525 Dover Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681).
