He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Kathryn Goodrich; his son Scott Goodrich (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Courtney Goodrich and Michael Goodrich; his daughter Amy Goodrich; his sister Patricia Goodrich; and his parents, John Goodrich and Gertrude Goodrich (House).

Services will be delayed due to Covid-19 restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to Brunswick County Family Assistance or AHM Youth and Family Services.

“Kate, Scott, and Amy ; I just heard of John's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Attorney Goodrich for 17 years (1989-2006 at Gordon Muir and Foley with Carol). He was one of the best people to work for and so easy to work with. I will keep you all and Attorney Goodrich in my prayers (he will always be Attorney Goodrich, to me no matter how old i get..LOL).”
