He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Ahlum and Louisa Linington Ahlum; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Light Ahlum; his sons, Greg Charles Ahlum (Emily) of Charlotte and Scott Michael Ahlum (Donna) of Oak Island; and his grandsons, Stuart Ahlum, William Ahlum, Ryan Ahlum and Jack Ahlum.
