She was predeceased by: her parents, Collie Hawk and Florine Hawk; her husband James Earl Jones; her daughter Earlene Parker; and her siblings, Lola Crawford, Sadie Ralph, Willie Mae Jenkins, Pauline Hawk, Bessie Hawk, Ernest Lee Hawk, Isaac Hawk and Hurley Hawk.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Hartsfield (Stanley) of Louisburg, NC, Patricia Daniels of Portsmouth, Elaine Parker, Bernice Jones of Newport News and James Earl Jones, Jr. (Deidre) of Hampton; her siblings, Margaret Hawk, Erma Lee Hawk Moore of Corapeake, NC and Claude Edward Hawk; and her granddaughter Shavon. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
