He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grady Davenport and Mary Magdaline Thomas Davenport; his siblings, Pat Smith, John Davenport and Elton Davenport; his son Charles Thomas Davenport; his son-in-law Jimmy Pearman; and his brother-in-law Don Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ellyn Davenport; his children, Rebecca Pearman, Michael R. Davenport and Nancy Kinney (Dennis); his grandchildren, Jamie Pearman (Nellie), Brooke Mustian (Caleb), Samantha Kinney and Joe Kinney (Katie); his great grandchildren, Luke Mustian, Oakley Mustian, Sydney Rhodes (Chase), Abbey Hayes (Justin), Jaxson Kinney, Henley Kinney and Sawyer Kinney; his great great grandchildren, Jayce and Ava Hayes; his siblings, Elaine Valentine and Donald Davenport (Sue); and his sister-in-law Hazel Russell.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hillsdale Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (1605 Scalesville Rd, Summerfield, NC 27358).
