It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Truman Bailey Doggett of Summerfield, North Carolina, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Waldo Doggett and Cosie Bailey Doggett; and his sister Marion Doggett Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Marion Doggett; his children, Debra Craig Allman (C. Edwin Allman III) and Mark Bailey Doggett (Martha Strickland Doggett); and his grandchildren, Sarah Doggett Evenson (Peter Oliver Evenson, Jr.) and William Bailey Doggett.
In recognition of Truman's belief in the benefits of gainful employment, memorial contributions may be made to the Independent Living Program of the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford.
