It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tommy Lawrence of Summerfield, North Carolina, born in Stokesdale, North Carolina, who passed away on November 21, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Thomas Lawrence and Ella Louise Everett; and his sisters, Maggie Lawrence and Nancy Peeden. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Nuckles Lawrence; his daughters, Lori Sampson (Herbie) and Amberly Hemric (Mike); his grandchildren, Meghan Boggs (Bobby), Kaegan Murphy, Kyle Sampson and Haley Lawrence; his great grandchildren, Autumn and Mason Boggs; and his siblings, Dianne Ray (Mike) and Dicky Lawrence (Patsy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to one of the following: The American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Brenner Children's Hospital.
