It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Godbee (Summerfield, North Carolina), born in Fairbanks, Alaska, who passed away on October 7, 2019, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his close friend Phil Owens. He is survived by: his parents, Frank Warren, III and Patricia Tuttle Godbee; his son Papaw; his wife Lycia Kellam Godbee; his children, Amanda Parsons and Tucker Godbee; his stepdaughters, Katie Parsons and Kerri Dunlevy; and his grandchildren, Khloe Rose Chilton and Miles Robert Dunlevy. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 1300 Baxter Street #150, Charlotte, North Carolina 28204.
