It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Collis (Summerfield, North Carolina), who passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thad Collis and Ruby Washburn Collis; his wife Jewel B. Collis; and his siblings, Bobby Collis, Elaine Collis, Mary Sue Collis and Betty Jean Stotts.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Collis (Tina) of Gordonsville, Sharon Torok (Kenneth) of Sylva, NC and Randall Collis (Melissa) of Ruffin; his siblings, Sarah Stump (Charly), Leon Collis (Faye) and Tom Collis (Pat); his grandchildren, Leslie Hanley (Duke), Melissa Call (Chris), Justin Collis (Rochelle), Cameron Collis and Carly Collis; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Call, Rebekah Call, Alexis Call, Skylar Hanley, Blake Hanley and Andy Collis.
Memorial Donations to the Baptist Children's Home, 204 Idol Street, Thomasville, NC 27360 in lieu of flowers.
