She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Shuler Marshal and John Davis Shuler; her husband James R Stanley; her sister Betty Shuler Simmons; and her stepfather Howard Marshal.
She is survived by: her children, John Edward Stanley (Amy) and Robin Stanley Chavez (Joey); her sister Libby Shuler Robinson; her sister-in-law Betty Keys Bernard; her grandchildren, Kristie Leigh Cates, Zack Stanley and Jose Anthony Chavez; and her nieces and nephews, Doris Edwards, Debbie Smith, Kim Stanley, Carolyn Long, Donna Craven, Susie Graham, Laurie Mills, Phillip Keys, Joey Stanley, Brian Stanley, Michael Simmons and Jeff Mills. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 6 grand nieces and nephews.
