Lillian Knight McAlister Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian Knight McAlister of Summerfield, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Knight and Florence Bailey Knight; and her brother William "Bill" Knight. She is survived by: her husband R. Wayne McAlister; her stepchildren, Danny McAlister, Wanda McAlister Shive (Jason) of Cary, NC and Sandra McAlister Sheckells (Ron) of Charlotte, NC.; her brothers, MacArthur Knight (Nancy) of Reidsville, Tom Knight (Nadine) of Ridgeway, VA and Carey Knight of Greensboro, NC; and her pet Happy. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
