He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Wilson and Pearl Ward Wilson; and his siblings, Laura Kendricks, Wesley Wilson, Odell Wilson, Grover Wilson and Ollie Wilson.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Wilson of Oak Ridge, Tim Wilson (Ellen) and Wilkesboro; his brother Lawrence Wilson (Betty) of Stokesdale; and his grandsons, Aaron Wilson (Laura) of Tampa, FL and Harrison Wilson.
