It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Crenshaw Sr. (Summerfield, North Carolina), who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Robert Crenshaw and Lillian Gillespie Crenshaw. He is survived by: his stepmother Thelma Crenshaw; his sisters, Grace Ryals and Martha Carver; his son James Edward Crenshaw, Jr.; his wife Geraldine "Jerrie" Hemphill Crenshaw; his children, Patricia C. Ghering (Douglas) of Summerfield and Gary Lee Crenshaw, Sr. of Raleigh, N. C.; his sister Florence Tuttle of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Leslie Arial, Christopher Arial and Gary Crenshaw, Jr. (Leah); and his great grandchild Lucas James Crenshaw.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Tabernacle UMC, 5721 Methodist Road, Greensboro N, C. 27406.
