She was predeceased by: her siblings, Dean, Willie, Clint Combs and Sue Combs Tucker; and her parents, Henry Earl Combs and Martha Elizabeth Ward Combs.
She is survived by: her husband Chester William Henson; her children, Michael William Henson of Sugar Grove, NC and Leisa Henson DeVenny (Gary DeVenny) of Granite Falls, NC; her grandchildren, Michael, Robert, Matthew Henson, Dustin DeVenny, Zachary DeVenny and Marcy Henson Trivette (Josh Trivette); and her siblings, Gail Combs Millsaps (Allen Millsaps) and Jerry James Combs (Lucille Yates Combs) of Sugar Grove. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Green Valley Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
