It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Houston H. Harmon (Sugar Grove, North Carolina), who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Don Harmon; his parents, Adie Harmon and Gladie Hicks Harmon; and his brothers, Grady, Ernest and Benny Harmon.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Ward Harmon; his children, Rosie Harmon Medynski of Sugar Grove, Roger L. Harmon (Noreen) of Lenoir and Claude Harmon of Atlanta, Georgia; and his siblings, Virginia Ward of Boone, Sue Ward of Boone, Linda Kelly (George) of Lenoir, Lee Harmon (Betty) of Boone and Marshall Harmon of Blowing Rock. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
