He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Arnette and Davie Harmon Arnette; his wife Rachel Millsaps Arnette; and his brothers, Ray and Paul Arnette.
He is survived by: his daughters, Margaret Reece (Darryel) of Elk Park, Mildred Denny of Clemmons and Patricia Horn of Winston Salem; his grandchildren, Greg Reece of Sugar Grove, Nicole Shomaker (Travis) of Sugar Grove, Kevin Denny of Clemmons, Brock Denny (Chelsea) of Winston Salem and Amanda Holbrook (Brian) of Clemmons; his great grandchildren, Avery Denny of Clemmons and Brooke Shomaker of Sugar Grove; his siblings, Juanita Greer of Lenoir and Bob Arnette (Betty) of Lenoir; and also Ray Greene. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
