He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Thaxton Keeton and Emma Frances Eggleston; his wife Helen Cooper Keeton; his son Ricky Keeton; and his siblings, Carol Luffman, C. T. Keeton, Robin Keeton and Wayne Keeton.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Keeton, Charles Keeton and Chris Keeton; his grandchildren, Jeana Currin (Matt), Angie Sossamon (John), Cindy Taylor (Brandon), Travis Keeton and Hunter Keeton; his great grandchildren, Dylan Ellington, Emerson Currin, Lainey Currin, Camryn Sossamon, Seth Currin and Brooklyn Taylor; and his siblings, Bonnie Cottrell (Jerry), Ruby Ann Averette, Jenny Lou Elliott (Mac), Dag Bailey (Larry), Pete Keeton (Nora), William Hunter Keeton, Ray Keeton (Ida Mae) and Al Keeton (Joyce Ann). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
