He was predeceased by: his father George Russell Adams; his daughter Pamela Jean Adams; and his siblings, Parks Adams, Everette Adams, James Adams, Ethel Gregory, Pauline Johnson and Mary Lee Branton.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Ruth Pharr Adams; his children, Danny Jackson Adams (Teresa) of Stony Point, Jeff Adams (Myra) of Hiddenite, Sherry Adams Meadows (Terry) of Taylorsville and Donna Adams Smith of Stony Point; his sisters, Ruby Coleman of Stony Point and Lucille Pharr of Stony Point; and his grandchildren, Tia Andras (Michael), Tasha Price (Zach), Jackson Smith, Gunner Smith, Cooper Smith, Lori Bullard (Ray), Kellie Haithcox (Ethan) and Julie Adams.
