She was predeceased by: her parents, Bain Dagenhart and Vivian Church Dagenhart; her significant other Harold Ray Sloan; her son-in-law Gerald Bowman; her sister Cleda Faye Dagenhart Carson; her brothers-in-law, Gerald Hicks Carson and Wayne Goodman; her nephew Terry Wayne Deal; her niece Cindy Carson Tibbetts; her great-nephew Jordan Lucas; and her daughter Sharon S. Bowman of Taylorsville.
She is survived by: her grandson Hank (Angie Hubbard Childers) of Stony Point; her stepgrandsons, Jeff Bowman of Taylorsville and Rick Bowman of Taylorsville; her great grandchildren, Kendrick Childers (Savannah Kerley) and Kyra Childers; her stepgreat-grandchild Haylee Bowman (Nick); her siblings, Verna D. Mills (Bob), Theresa D. Neel (Keith), Cecelia D. Goodman and Ken Dagenhart; her friends, Phyllis Alexander, Priscilla Houston and Willie Mock Daniels; and her caregiver Tonya Carson. She is also survived by son numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
