She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Smith and Emma Stout Smith; her husband Amos Smith; and her daughters, Rosemarie Duncan and Lorrie Payne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Jo Stikeleather of Stony Point and Diane Eckerd (Dennis) of Taylorsville; and her grandchildren, Scottie Joines, Jill Mecimore, Heather Bosick, Alisha Fox, Anthony Rimmer and Raven Brown.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Stony Point Baptist Church Cemetery (231 Ruritan Park Rd, Stony Point, NC 28678).
