She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee Williams and Mozelle Wicker Williams; her husband Phillip Chapman; her grandson Jody Rector; and her son-in-law Jeff Cornelius.

She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Pruitt (Sam), Frankie Smith (Alan), Debbie Rector (Rick), Lisa Cornelius and Gerri Pinnix (Donivan); and her stepchildren, Larry Chapman and Dawn Fox.
