He was predeceased by: his parents, Verdie Anderson Foy and Macie Lowrance Foy; his family Gene; and his siblings, Lawrance Foy, Ben Foy, Doris Keen and Joyece Foy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Ruth" Hawkins; his children, Mark Foy (Gina) of Taylorsville, Peter Foy (Jacqueline) of Catawba County, NC and Laura Foy Lail (Bobby) of Stony Point; and his grandchildren, Alek Foy (Elizabith), Addi Foy Sherril (Cole), Carly Foy, Claire Foy, Lauren Massingill (Jamie) and Alexis Lail.
Memorials may be given to the 1st Baptist Church of Taylorsville. 321 West Main Ave. Taylorsville NC. 28681 Chapman Funeral Home is serving the Foy family.
