She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Daniel Hefner and Dolly Lance Hefner; her former husband James Harding; her husband Sam Wiles; her children, James Ray Harding and Glenda Ann Harding; and her granddaughter Brooklynn Leigh Lackey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Ladd (James "Buddy") of Kernersville, Shelby Welborne of Taylorsville, Barbara Herman of Taylorsville and Debbie Killian (Derek) of Hickory; and her close friend Sandy Messer. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
