He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry D. Wible and Judith "Judy" Johnson Wible; his in-laws, Jerome and Barbara "Barb" Ridge; his uncles, Robert "Bob" Johnson and Jerry Meier; his pet Callie; and his close friend Buddy.

He is survived by: his wife Polly Jo Ridge; his children, Tara Schaefer (Mike), Tori Goodman (Ronnie) and Kaden Wible; his grandchildren, Claire Schaefer, Madelyn Schaefer, Avery Schaefer, Mason Goodman and Emma Goodman; his sister Anita Tindall (Ron); his siblings-in-law, Randy Ridge (Missy), Jana Hobbs (Steve) and Amy Bell (Mike); his aunts, Sharon "Kay" Meier and Judy Meier; and his pets, Lizzy and Ella.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Holmes Memorial Chapel (642 W Silver St, Sullivan, IN 47882). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
